Quick answer
The Overworld Poster is an A2-sized print on standard poster paper, offering a vibrant reproduction of Terraria's landscape. To keep it looking its best, frame it behind glass and avoid direct sunlight.
Why print quality matters for wall art
Poster print quality affects how colors and details appear from across a room. The Overworld Poster uses standard poster paper, which is matte and lightweight—great for affordability but less durable than canvas or heavy stock. The A2 size (about 16.5 x 23.4 inches) gives enough space to appreciate the pixel-art landscape without feeling cramped.
What to expect from the paper and finish
Standard poster paper has a smooth, non-reflective surface that reduces glare, making it easy to see from different angles. However, it can be prone to creasing if rolled too tightly or stored without a tube. The inks are vivid for the price point, but they are not archival—over time, UV exposure can cause fading.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the Overworld Poster made of?
- It's printed on standard poster paper, which is a lightweight, matte paper stock. It's not laminated or coated, so it can be more susceptible to fingerprints and moisture.
- How should I display the poster to avoid damage?
- Use a frame with UV-protective glass or acrylic. This blocks most harmful light and keeps the paper flat. Avoid hanging in direct sunlight or humid areas like bathrooms. A frame is the single best investment to extend the life of your poster.
- Can I roll the poster for storage or shipping?
- Yes, but roll it with the printed side facing outward to minimize creasing. Store in a sturdy tube away from heat and moisture. If creases occur, lay it flat under heavy books for a day or two.
- How do I clean the poster if it gets dusty?
- If framed, gently wipe the glass with a microfiber cloth. If unframed, use a soft, dry brush or canned air to remove dust. Never use water or cleaning sprays on the paper. Always clean the frame, not the poster directly.
