Compare the Town Slime Plush and Gold Bunny Plush on size, style options, and price to pick the right Terraria plush gift for kids, collectors, or anyone new to the game.
Quick answer
For most gift situations, the Town Slime Plush is the safer pick because the recipient can choose from ten named characters, so you can match a favorite or let them pick. The Gold Bunny Plush is the better choice for someone who specifically loves the game's rare golden critters or wants a single, simple 6-inch collectible without a style decision.
Size and presence: 6 inches vs. a full Town Slime lineup
The Gold Bunny Plush is described as a 6-inch plush, so its footprint is predictable and easy to place on a shelf, desk, or bed. The Town Slime Plush does not list a measurement in the catalog, which is a real limitation if you are matching it to an existing display or a gift box. In practice, that means the Gold Bunny is the easier one to plan around when size matters, while the Town Slime is the better choice when the character lineup matters more than exact dimensions.
Style choices: ten Town Slimes vs. one Gold Bunny
The Town Slime Plush comes in ten styles: Squeezo The Surly, Seymour The Nerdy, Scrappy The Squire, Scooter The Cool, Prince, Swanson The Elder, Stumble The Clumsy, Princess, Shimmer The Diva, and Sienna The Mystic. If you know the recipient's favorite, you can pick it directly; if not, you can choose a personality that fits their sense of humor. The Gold Bunny Plush has a standard option only, so there is no character decision to make. That simplicity is a strength for a quick gift and a drawback if you want the gift to feel personalized.
Price and value: what the catalog pricing tells you
At catalog prices, the Gold Bunny Plush is USD 12.19 (compared to a USD 19.99 comparison price), and the Town Slime Plush is USD 21.59 (compared to USD 29.99). The gap is about nine dollars, which is worth weighing against how much the recipient cares about the specific character. If you are buying for a casual fan or a child who just wants a soft Terraria collectible, the Gold Bunny keeps the spend lower. If the recipient has a named favorite among the Town Slimes, the extra cost buys a more personal gift.
A third option: the backpack clip plushies
If you are gifting to a younger fan who carries a backpack daily, the Town Slime Backpack Clip Plushies are worth considering alongside these two. Each is about 4 inches and includes an attached backpack clip, and you can choose from ten characters including Seymour The Nerdy, Scrappy The Squire, and Scooter the Cool. They are smaller than both the Gold Bunny and the Town Slime Plush, so they work as a lower-commitment gift or an add-on. For a child who loses or rotates toys often, the clip format also keeps the plush attached to something rather than loose in a bag.
Trade-offs to weigh before you buy
- Personalization vs. simplicity: The Town Slime Plush offers ten named styles, so you can match a favorite or a personality. The Gold Bunny Plush has a standard option only, which removes the decision but also removes the personal touch. Choose Town Slime if you know the recipient's favorite; choose Gold Bunny if you want a no-decision gift.
- Known size vs. unlisted size: The Gold Bunny Plush is described as 6 inches, so you can plan shelf space or packaging. The Town Slime Plush does not list a measurement in the catalog, so if exact size matters, that is a limitation to accept or work around. If size is critical, Gold Bunny is the safer bet; if not, the Town Slime lineup is the bigger draw.
- Lower spend vs. character choice: At catalog prices, Gold Bunny is USD 12.19 (compared to USD 19.99) and Town Slime is USD 21.59 (compared to USD 29.99). The roughly nine-dollar difference buys access to the ten-character lineup. For a casual fan, Gold Bunny keeps costs down; for a dedicated fan with a favorite, Town Slime is worth the difference.
